We have just had a really nice weekeend. We did nothing! Well, really alan did some work, but it was super relaxing! The weather is starting to change- its pretty cold at night and nice and cool during the day. I absolutely love the change in seasons. Although it does make me a bit homesick- no great fall colors here. But I'll get that next year, hey?

Here's a picture from today- he looked so cute. I didn't think to take a picture until he was in his car seat. He looked like a little man in his button down shirt! And Alan says he looks like an old man in his jumper because it's a button up, he's bald, and has a gummy smile! Old man or not, he's adorable!
And these pics are from a couple months ago but I don't think I posted them. True likes to carry things around in his mouuth like a little puppy! It cracks me up!

And this is a little contraption that you can put small fruit like grapes in and you don't have to worry about choking. Thanks for this Ryan! You can tell by looking at him how much he liked it!

Several weeks ago I decided to plant some herbs. I decided to start from seeds and really test my green thumb! I have to say, having never grown anything, I felt immensely proud when I saw the first tiny green shoots. I remember thinking, "We have life!"
So I have three kinds growing well. The sad thing is I can only remember 2 of them- parsley and coriander. I think the short one in the middle is oregano and there's one that hasn't really grown at all, but I don't even remember what it is supposed to be!
I am very excited because Anna and I are planning on doing a veggie patch together once we move home. So this has given me a boost of confidence- hopefully we will get some nice things to eat from our effort! And I am looking forward to planting and harvesting with true. I think it will be a wonderful experience. I am also going to have to plan a trip to Alabama to learn how to do some canning and preserving! I'm so excited!True is bound to be walking before long. He pushes everything he can get his hands on. His latest feat is pushing the kitchen chairs around! He's cuter than ever and so much fun to play with!

Well, I've been inspired to try my hand at freezer cooking. So I'd better stop yabbering and go finalize my giant grocery list!
Hugs and Kisses to all!

True is getting so big!!
I LOVE freezer cooking. It is soooo nice to work hard one day and get the kitchen really messy at once and have so many meals finished. I always do it with a friend too, so that is nice to have the company. Good luck with your cooking! If you come across any great recipes...send them my way!
