Bridgetown

Last week we headed to Bridgetown, a little country town about three hours south of Perth. We were invited by Ed and Melaine (who went with us) who were going to be using the house of a friend who was away. It seemed like this came at just the right time, as things have been a bit stressful lately. And I had an absolutely great time. We just took our time through some of the little sleepy towns, played games, read, and generally relaxed. Alan and I haven't done anything like this in such a long time- it was long overdue!

We stopped at Donnybrook, a little town on the way, because they have an awesome playground. Everyone had fun on it, old and young!

Having fun with daddy on the crocodile seesaw!
Climbing up the super slide...
coming down!
This was his faorite activity- digging!
And of course, the big boys had fun too!

We also went hiking and climbed the Diamond tree. Alan went all the way to the top- 50 meters and I went about halfway. It has rebar stuck into the trunk and you climb up that! It's a bit scary!
This is the view from the top.

This little mini-hike we did reminded me of home! You rarely see places like this over here!

And one of our favorite past times of the week was mario party. I love this game!

ok, love you all! adios!
