This is the birthday cake I made, and yes, we ate some of it before the party! But I don't think a bunch of 2 and 3 year olds really care! And man, it was yummy- choc with buttercream icing.
True liked the hats and the balloons we used to decorate.
Not that it stayed on for long!
I had his little playgroup over for cake and snacks. He loves playing with other kids! And he doesn't seem to mind being the only boy!
Make a wish!
I really wish I'd thought to take some pics or video of him when he first saw the table set and the balloons. He came walking out in the morning and saw it all and his face just lit up- it was so cute! And then he had to check it all out and he just kept making these little squeels of excitement! Alan thought to break out the camera, so we did catch a minute or two!

Awww! He is so sweet! I so wish we could have been there. I was thinking the other day about O's and C's 1st birthdays, and I was remembering how you guys were still here when Olivia turned one! True is precious! Can't wait to squeeze him!
